Department of Mathematics

In our college The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 2001 as one of the subjects at the degree level with the combination of Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Computer Science . The Department consists of a versatile combination of senior experienced faculty and active young faculty. Mathematics is the parent subject for Physical Sciences and it’s like a backbone for technological advancement in today’s world. The Department also aims to instill in each student a capability to solve meaningful problems in the service of humanity. We have strong alumni who are presently working at different positions in reputed sectors like Software, Banks and Business etc.

Vision :

To provide an environment where students can learn, become competent users of mathematics and understand the use of mathematics in other disciplines.

We will provide students with individualized help in their studies as needed to successfully complete their mathematics courses.
